Circumvent a bug in some distributions of apache/mod_php, where an apache
child, that has executed a php script with mbstring.func_overload=7 once, will
overload substr() in a later execution of another php script, even if the
Location context of that script has mbstring.func_overload=0 set. Since the
WBXML decoder works byte-by-byte to determine substring length, it fails, if
mb_substr() is used. This patch prevents this.

Make the detection of the device types a little smarter and able to use
out-of-band data such as the HTTP user agent.

Use that to determine weither message fragmentation should be used or not.

Indicate that Funambol 6+ supports fragmentation (this solves cases where
big addressbooks cannot be syncrhonized because there are too many entries).

Backport of a modification/addition to the customfield widget from Ralf         
 pre_process_cf_header
 function to display the customfields in a nextmatch table-header with the functionality of sorting and selecting
 by customfields. Of cource you need to adapt the source of your get_rows or search functionality to do the
 actual sorting and selecting. We try to do some additional documentation in codecorner
 You can pass the allowed/wanted fields to the header by passing an array of the wanted fields to the widget
 through the options parameter (see the eTemplate editor for fields/cells). This array is passed on through
 $cell['size']. By now the array passed through is only working, if it is the only entry in the optionsparameter.
 The allowed fields array assumes an numerical indexed array of (an) array(s) with ['name'] tag(s) set. 
 The name provided assumes a preceding #. (e.g.: $allowed_fields[x]['name']='#MyCustomField')

Extend the patch to get_categories in infolog submitted by matthias to the other classes 
as well.  

Added a hack that allows one to search for the categories' names prefixed by X- 
Sony Ericsson phones (and possibly others) systematically prepend a X- to the 
category names, so with this patch we match X-CatName just like CatName

This is only done for SyncML obviously.

changed the etemplate/inc/class.customfields_widget.inc.php, to display only fields with values in listview and to have an info icon to identify
which customfield is displayed (onmouseover), a click on the icon or the value of the customfield opens the description of that field as alertbox.

Patch from Nigel Vickers: It fixes the problem created by broken string delimeters in ENV-TOs' (Outlook, Apple Mailer and Co.). It also prevents the generic parser walking out of a damaged response and crashing PHP. Thus Mailboxes will now display lists of mails that contain damaged headers.

CSV Export for all eTemplate applications using the nextmatch widget to list their entries. The column names, labels and types can be set by the application or get autodetected by eTemplate. Admins can configure an export limit (max. number of entries to export) or disable the functionality completly for non-admins. The charset for the csv export can be configured in the common prefs. Applications can and have to turn the export explicitly off by setting ['nm']['csv_fields']=false. I only made a column-definition for InfoLog, which includes translated column-names.

fixed 2.unwanted-download problem: if you click on a download button and then use eg. a selectbox with onchange='this.form.submit()' the button _stays_ pressed, because the value of the button var is still set as the previous submitted form returns no new page to the browser (resetting the button var), because it's a download

Small Bugfix for the call of the setup-cli.php script. When checking the enviroment as command-line call DOCUMENT_ROOT is not set. The empty string 
results in an error stating, that the path provided for tmp/file/backup is in DOC_ROOT. This is fixed now.

many modifications to improve the support of (at least) lightning
- changed default uid handling to UID2UID (means keep them unchanged), as the other modes created doublicates on client and server, as the client did not understand that the server changes his uid's (against the RFC specs).
- ability to delete events (not yet InfoLogs!), by tracking the id's of the GET request of the client and deleting the ones NOT send back to the server in PUT requests
- added etag handling to allow to reject put requests if the calendar is not up to date (HTTP_IF header with etag in client PUT requests) and to report unmodified calendars to the client (HTTP_IF_NONE_MATCH header with etag gets 304 Not modified response)
- returning 501 Not implemented response, for WebDAV/CalDAV request (eg. PROPFIND), to let the client know we dont support it
- ability to use contacts identified by their mail address as participants (mail addresses which are no contacts still get written to the description!)
- support uid for InfoLog (requires InfoLog version >= 1.5)

[Sitemgr, merged from trunk but version 1.4.002] - Rewrite of Notifications & Notification Messages

- New so/bo/ui standart etemplates app with nextmatch widget (for both

"fixed problem reported on the german list: memberships get not set if a new user gets creted in ldap
It turned out to be a caching problem, as the cache of the accounts-class still contained a failed id2name resolution for the new account.
This was caused by the session-restore with stored the cache in the global accounts object ($GLOBALS[egw]->accounts) too.
Now the global cache is in the global account-object and all other account objects use just a reference to that cache. It get stored from common::egw_final by calling $GLOBALS[egw]->accounts->save_session_cache() in the session."

the splitting with a complex regex for the parseDate does not work with old javascript. reworked it so splitting is done possible (date) delimiter by delimiter

fix for bug #909 :If I set in Newsadmin Prefs to show News on home (Yes-small view) and limit the number of entries (e.g 4) this number takes no effect, all News are shown. Reproduced in this community installation.

two fixes for the num_rows in the next-match widget:
- use a default of 15 rows, if user&group has no pref set
